Operation of A.C Power monitors, and S.C.A.D.A. systems. Some field travels for construction and maintenance to remote power plants.

Including variable speed motor drives and electronic metering, telecommunication equipment for S.C.A.D.A. operation. Modernize and improve on Out Dated equipment. Extensive documentation and technical reports. Computer skills include word processor, Cadd, spreadsheets, and database. Completed asbuilts as well as some design work.

Power Generation Electrician (both diesel and gaseous-fueled prime movers). Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems for generator sets and power plant switchgear. Design and manufacture of custom installations including system automation, metering, protection, parallel load sharing and electronic governors. Repair of system accessories, battery chargers, and voltage regulators. Applications include standby, prime, packaged power (portable arctic pack) and marine auxiliary systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and install engine control, shutdown, and alarm systems. Repair and overhaul of Detroit diesel engines. Have traveled extensively in remote areas of Alaska. Layoff-reduction in work force. The company closed it's Anchorage branch approximately 01/88.

Traveled in the field to work on marine engines and generator work of all types including power plant switchgear and standby systems as in large buildings in Anchorage and camps in Prudhoe Bay. Reason for leaving layoff- reduction in work force.
